Camp 17 Commandments
Junior Week/Teen week Rules
- No one is allowed off the campgrounds anytime without Director’s permission
- No boys near girls cabins and vice versa (except in passing to swimming/fishing)
- If caught littering, you must buy the item for the one who saw you litter
- One shower a day (at least, please)
- Do not tamper with any Camp sound or electronic Equipment
- Couples can sit together during services, but no couples together alone at anytime. No physical contact
- NO Tobacco, alcohol, drugs, matches, knives, fireworks, etc.
- Bathing suits are to be worn in pond area only. Must cover up to and from the pond
- No one is allowed outside the cabins between lights out and rising bell except by permission of cabin counselor
- No food or drinks in tabernacle
- Anyone wishing to leave camp early must receive permission from camp director
- NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES INCLUDING CELL PHONES
- Do not leave the dining hall before being dismissed after meals
- No swimming unless the lifeguard(s) is present at the pond. Sign in and out when leaving
- All medicine is to be left with the Camp Nurse upon arrival
- If camp property is destroyed and you are involved, you will be held responsible for any and all damages
- The Camp Director is the Final authority in all matters
Other Policies
DOG POLICY:
- All dogs are to be well behaved
- All dogs must be kenneled when inside of cabins alone
- All dogs must be inside or near cabins at all times
- Dogs must not be a distraction
- No camper or counselor is allowed to bring a dog or pet
Dress Code:
At Victory, we stress modest clothing and require that the following are NOT worn at camp: Spaghetti strap tops, two piece swimwear, shorts that are rolled, or shorter than a dollar bill turned on end from the top of kneecap. Shorts must be longer than shorts and no clothing may expose any undergarment at any time.
Student Registration:
- All student registration information will be kept private to Registrar and Camp Director, unless otherwise is necessary.
- Camper roommate requests are REQUESTS and may not be fulfilled
- All campers must have a filled out medical release form upon arrival and to attend camp.
